PNW Wonderland

This PNW landscape mural is inspired by student drawings of Mother Earth (the mountain + waterfall face); native flowers in Washington State (Alpine anemone, Monkshood, Mountain arnica, Common yarrow); native animals like the Grizzly Bear and Cascade Red Fox; and the native Polyphemus Moth. The rainbow was also a common drawing to represent kindness. The Bear and Fox are looking up in awe at the rainbow as it is a reflection of themselves (Kind, Respectful, Responsible, Safe, which are the school’s values). The camping scene represents students' favorite tradition with family.
